Plain terms, written to be read. If something here is unclear, ask us and we will put it in better words.
What these terms cover
Reading this website, and any project we agree to build together. A project is governed by the written quote and scope we send you, which these terms sit underneath.
Scope and price
Every quote fixes the work, the number of revision rounds, the delivery date and the total cost before we begin. Anything outside that scope is quoted separately so you can decide with the numbers in front of you.
Payment
A setup fee secures your place in the schedule, with any balance released in stages agreed per project. For Biz Starter, the first $50 monthly hosting and care payment is due 30 days after the website goes live, then monthly in advance. Care can be stopped with thirty days of notice. We do not start work before the setup fee is received, and we do not hide costs in change orders.
Your material
Photographs, footage, copy and data you provide remain yours. You confirm you have the right to use them, and you give us permission to publish them as part of your project.
Our work and our marks
Our design systems, code, and the SEYEGHTS wordmark and signature eye remain the intellectual property of SEYEGHTS. On final payment, the assets agreed in your scope transfer to you for use in your project. The name, the wordmark and the eye stay ours.
Showing the work
Unless your project is confidential, which we are glad to agree to, we may present the finished work in our portfolio and in our own campaigns.
Services we rely on
Domains, hosting and payment providers are supplied by third parties under their own terms. We will set them up correctly and tell you plainly which ones we have chosen.
